Deception and financial abuse

Recently accredited SFE member and Partner at Ridley & Hall, James Urquhart Hall has highlighted the impact of financial abuse in a recent video uploaded to the firm’s YouTube channel. 

Financial abuse comes in many forms and can be subtle, meaning sometimes victims aren’t aware that they’re being abused. The video reinforces the message that speaking to a specialist is always best wherever possible.  Social media platforms are a brilliant way for you and your firm to share your knowledge and expertise as well as signpost older and vulnerable people to accredited solicitors trained in advising them specifically. We would encourage you to use YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to create content which we are always happy to share on our channels.
